Creating Your First QR Code
Follow this printable guide to generate, test, and deploy QR codes for LakiPay. Share it with teams that manage in-store or event activations.
Step 1: Choose the Right QR Type
Use dynamic QR codes when customers enter the amount; use static QR codes when the amount is pre-defined (e.g., fixed price menus).
- Dynamic QR: perfect for in-person retail, pop-ups, delivery tips.
- Static QR: best for kiosks, posters, or donation drives with known amounts.
Step 2: Generate in the Dashboard
Navigate to Payments → QR Codes. Select dynamic or static, add a label, and configure the payment account.
- For dynamic QR, set allowed payment channels and optional amount limits.
- For static QR, specify the exact amount or reference.
- Download PNG or SVG assets for printing.
Step 3: Test Before Sharing
Scan the QR using a test device to confirm the experience. Ensure the business name, amount, and reference are correct.
- Verify the payment completes and appears in the dashboard.
- Confirm settlement route (wallet ↔ bank) is correct.
