Onboarding Guide
Follow these steps to move from sign-up to your first live payment with LakiPay. Print this page or keep it open alongside the dashboard as you complete each milestone.

Create Your LakiPay Account
- Visit https://dashboard.lakipay.com/signup on desktop or mobile.
- Enter your phone number (+251 format), title, first and last name.
- Choose a strong password and hint; confirm both fields.
- Accept the merchant agreement before tapping “Sign Up”.

Verify Your Phone with OTP
- You’ll immediately see the OTP dialog after signup.
- Type the six-digit code sent via SMS. Codes expire in 5 minutes.
- Tap “Resend OTP” only if the original code expires.
- Once verified, you are automatically redirected to business approval.

Collect Your Business Details
- Gather TIN, legal/trading names, registration number, industry, business type, website URL, established date.
- Prepare contact details: authorized representative name, email, phone, and location (region→postal code).
- Scan your TIN certificate, business license, and any required sector licenses.

Submit the Business Approval Form
- Fill the dashboard wizard with the collected information.
- Upload TIN certificate & business license (required), plus optional betting license.
- Double-check spelling and attachments before submitting.
- Approval SLA is typically 1–2 business days; you’ll receive email confirmation.

Prepare for Your First Payment
- After approval, go to Settings → API Keys to create your first scoped key.
- Configure your webhooks, callback URLs, and sandbox/test credentials.
- Download the printable Integration Checklist to track remaining tasks.
- Run a pilot transaction end-to-end (initiate, confirm, reconcile) before launching.
